What elopement packages in Squamish include:
Every couple is different, so while I have a standard list of what’s included, I tailor the details to fit you.
Not everyone wants hair and makeup.
Some queer couples prefer two bouquets, two boutonnieres, or none at all.
Some couples want an all day adventure: some want a simple, heartfelt ceremony, followed by photos, and dinner after.
All to say, I am flexible and can tailor the day, and pricing, around you.
Here’s what’s generally included in my Squamish elopement packages:
Planning: Timeline creation, vendor liaison, location scouting, and back up plans for weather. I bring 10+ years planning experience to your day.
Ceremony: Guidance on obtaining your licence, performance of your ceremony by a professional officiants (me!), a warm, modern, heartfelt ceremony, my vow writing guide, and I make your marriage legal, too.
Photography: I include professional wedding photography. I start by talking to you about what photography styles you like, then I suggest a few photographers that fit within your aesthetic and budget. Most couples opt for 2 hours - but I’ve done more (recommended for 2 locations) and less.
Florals: I usually include 1 bridal bouquet and 1 boutonniere, but we can change this up to your preference.
Other: Guests, decor (wooden arch + rugs), a speaker (for your aisle song / first dance / background music), unlimited support and communication, and so many little things that you don’t even think about (for example, I have a tent change room for my nearly-weds to get changed in after hiking), and local personalized recommendations for accommodation, restaurant, hikes, etc.
Common additions: Hair + make up (an additional ~$400)
Adventures: Some couples opt to add an adventure on top - be it a heli-elopement or a hiking elopement. Or, we can celebrate on the ground and I can help you plan a celebratory adventure for before / after (private sauna floating in the Howe Sound, anyone?)
From $2,499 + gst
Price may vary depending on your choice of photographer and hours of coverage - average spend $2,750.
Adventure Elopements
The most common adventure elopement package I offer is with the addition of a helicopter flight! This adds around $2300 - $3500 + gst to your elopement package, depending on which flight option you opt for.
The second most popular option are my hiking elopements - for an elopement, you ideally want a hike that’s on the shorter side, but still has incredible views. I have a few options that are low-effort for high reward. I’m talking about an hour or so to get to the alpine!
You can also rent a zodiac or sailboat to take you to some amazing spots only accessible by boat (it’s just as amazing as it sounds). Or, I’ve even married some local climbers on a portaledge!

The Best Places to Elope in Squamish
One of the biggest benefits of eloping in Squamish is how easy it is to access breathtaking scenery. Whether you want mountains, forests, waterfalls, or oceanfront views, we can get to all of it… usually within minutes of the car.
I wrote a whole different blog post on where to elope in Squamish, so check that out for more detail. But here are some ideas:
Oceanfront elopements: Along Britannia, Furry Creek, and Porteau Cove, you can find access to the oceanfront, which is perfect for Howe Sound views.
Forest elopements: Squamish is full of lush, ferny forests and old-growth pockets that create natural, atmospheric ceremonies. Forests also offer the best rainy-day backup.
Mountain backdrops: I have a few gems that are easy-access - for some, you just walk 10-15 minutes in. For others, you drive up, then there is a shortwalk.
Mountaintop: Speaking of mountains, I also offer hiking and helicopter elopements.
Waterside: Lakes, riversides, and waterfalls also make for incredible backdrops.
Note: Provincial Parks require a permit (e.g. Murrin or Alice lake). It’s easy to obtain - email me for more info.

Elopement venues in Squamish
If you prefer a private venue, there are great options for Squamish elopements. (These have an additional cost)
Sea to Sky Gondola – $1,500 + gst for an elopement booking, including gondola tickets and access to their scenic lookouts. (I used to be their wedding manager - happy to guide you!)
Riverside Airbnbs – several local hosts offer private forest or river ceremony nooks.
Cheekye Ranch Geodome – a beautiful bright dome built by Kind Yoga.
Brackendale Art Gallery – quirky, artsy, and perfect for intimate ceremonies.
Some larger venues also offer weekday or winter elopement options, and I’m in chats with some newer venues about opening up to elopements and micro-weddings in 2026.
How it Works…
This is the process for booking your elopement:
How to Legally Elope in BC
All you need is a BC marriage licence, 2 witnesses, and an officiant!
The licence is easy to get, and many of my out-of-province couples pick it up after landing in Vancouver. While a couple of days’ buffer is ideal, it can be done same-day (though I always recommend giving yourself some breathing room).
Why Work With a Local Officiant & Planner
Having someone local makes a huge difference. Hiring someone local means you’ll get someone with a deep local knowledge! This leads to a dialled-in plan (and back up plan - mandatory for this part of the world), knowledge of hidden gems, strong vendor connections, realistic weather back-ups, and someone who knows which spots are quiet at sunset (and which are full of mountain bikers)
Let’s Plan Your Squamish Elopement
It may be a tad overwhelming when you start thinking about eloping - so, if you’d like to start with a cup of coffee and a chat, I offer free, no-obligation consults. Just a call (or meeting in Squamish) to answer any questions you have, share my knowledge, and see if I feel like a good fit for you. Feel free to reach out!

One more note on locations…
I’m licensed to make your marriage legal anywhere in British Columbia, and I can obtain permission for other provinces upon request. That said, the Sea to Sky is where I truly shine - Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Horseshoe Bay, Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton are my home turf.
Most of the elopements I host take place in Squamish, where I’ve lived for 7 years (and counting). I’ve also officiated ceremonies across BC - from Bowen Island to Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and beyond - but Squamish will always have my heart.
Before making this valley home, I lived nomadically as a tour guide, travelling through more than 60 countries. Squamish was the first place that stopped me in my tracks - and I’ve never left.
