YOUR SQUAMISH WEDDING OFFICIANT
I'm Jude!
Nothing lights me up more than standing alongside a couple as they take that incredible step into marriage. Guiding you through the nerves, the laughter, and the happy tears is one of the greatest privileges of my life.
When I’m not witnessing you cuties say “I do,” you’ll find me climbing, hiking, or camping. I’m a self-proclaimed silly goose (a very professional silly goose) who will absolutely try to sneak in a cuddle with your dog.
MY STORY
Once upon a time…
When I was 18, my grandfather casually told me he’d lived in a cave in Malta during WW2…
sending forbidden love letters to my grandmother — a family story no one had ever heard (ask me about it sometime - it’s epic).
That one conversation led me down a rabbit hole of history and love stories, eventually leading me to Malta, then to a decade as a European tour guide leading groups through 30+ countries and curating once-in-a-lifetime memories.
Tour guiding taught me how to hold a crowd, tell a story, and create unforgettable moments — something my Bachelor of Communications hinted I might be wired for long before I ever picked up a microphone.
When the pandemic shut down travel, I started one of those luxury picnic businesses (remember these?), leading me to elopements. I managed a local wedding venue and worked as a wedding planner. But my hand was itching for the microphone, and my heart for storytelling.
Now I marry over 100 couples a year, and every ceremony still gives me goosebumps.
It feels full circle: back on the mic, storytelling, celebrating love and adventure… only this time, the story is yours.
The Short: I LOVE love
The Long: No seriously - it’s simple, maybe even a little cheesy, but it’s true. I grew up witnessing the boldest kind of love - the everyday kind that is steady and brave, and the wild kind that changes everything. That’s where this purpose of mine began: deep in my bones.
My Why
I think every ‘I do’ feels like a little victory in this world. And honestly: this isn’t just a job, I really do feel like I was born for this.
I Vow To…
Caught in the Wild
In case you didn’t believe me when I said I’d go wherever your vows take us
A Bit About You…
You love the wild spirit of British Columbias’ West Coast and feel most alive outdoors.
You know the dog absolutely belongs in the wedding party.
You want a ceremony that feels like you — heartfelt, playful, and meaningful (never stiff or scripted).
You would rather your guests walk away saying, “That was so them,” instead of, “Well, that was traditional.”
You care more about the marriage than the production, and you want your ceremony to reflect that.
You know this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment — and you want every second of it to be one you’ll cherish.
